Who is the TFC Workshop for?
The TFC Workshop is designed for a wide range of people, including those who:
- Want to learn practical ways to improve their feet and lower limb function, strength and balance.
- Want to increase their capacity to be able to spend long hours standing or walking for work or leisure.
- Are active in sport or fitness and want a stronger, more stable foundation.
- Are curious about transitioning to more natural footwear but are unsure where to start.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do I need any experience to join?
No. The TFC Workshop is designed for all levels, from complete beginners to experienced movers. Your Guide will offer options, demonstrations, and progressions so you can engage at a level that feels appropriate for your body on the day.
2. What should I wear and bring?
Wear comfortable clothing you can move freely in, similar to what you would wear for a light workout or yoga.
We recommend bringing:
- Clothing that allows you to squat, lunge, and balance without restriction
- A yoga mat or non-slip exercise mat
- A water bottle
- A small towel if you tend to sweat easily
If you have your own natural or minimal footwear, you are welcome to wear or bring it. Some portions of the workshop may be done barefoot, depending on the venue and your comfort level.
What will be provided for use at the workshop
- SoleMates
- Hacky sacks
- Bring you own if have them / if you’d like to but this is optional
3. Is it suitable if I have an existing injury?
It depends on the type and stage of your injury. The TFC Workshop is low‑impact and can usually be adapted, but it is an active session.
If you have an existing injury that impacts your ability to exercise, please check in with your health professional before attending. On arrival, we recommend letting the host know about any injuries or concerns so they can help you adjust or modify exercises/activities as needed.
4. Will I get one‑on‑one coaching?
The TFC Workshop is a group experience, not a one‑on‑one consult. You will receive individual tips and feedback during the session, but the primary focus is on shared learning and group exploration.
If you are looking for deeper, personalised assessment or rehab‑specific guidance, we recommend pairing the Workshop with a one‑on‑one consult or working with a practitioner who integrates TFC principles.
5. What will I walk away with?
By the end of the TFC Workshop, you can expect to:
- Have a clearer understanding of how your feet, ankles, and hips work together
- Know the key exercises and habits that will build on your foot/lower body strength and mobility.
- Feel more confident about transitioning toward natural footwear (if that is a goal for you)
- Understand how to use simple tools and short practice blocks to keep building progress
- Leave with practical next steps you can apply at home, at work, or in your existing training
The goal is that you leave not just informed, but confident and supported to take your next steps toward stronger, more resilient feet and better movement for life.
